Anne Miles

Anne Miles grew up in Adelaide and studied at the South Australian School of Art.

After experimentation in many fields of art, she now concentrates on painting, drawing and printmaking. Her works which are contemporary in style, are inspired by the landscape and momentary observations of life, incorporating a strong design element. Anne has exhibited her work widely since 1986. Over the years she has taught art, co-ordinated exhibitions, held workshops and been involved in public art projects, she was a member of Gallery 54 Collective Inc. in Penola for twenty-four years, retiring in 2021 and is an active member of Thumb Print Workshop Inc. in Mount Gambier.

Anne’s works are held in public and private collections. Her other interests include reading, history, geology, gardening and sewing. Anne lives and works in Mount Gambier, South Australia.
